Description
Everyone can see your cards but you. Can their clues help you find out what to play?
- Remove the rainbow suit cards from the deck:
- You can include it, just it's a more advanced variant of the game
- Shuffle the remaining cards to form the game deck
- Deal 4 cards face-down to each player
- 2-3P: Deal 5 cards face-down to each player
- Each player hold cards face-out so that they cannot see their values
- Place 8 blue tokens face up on the table
- Stack 4 fuse tokens such that the longest fuse token is on the top and the explosion is on the bottom
The game takes place over a series of turns where players can perform one of three actions:
- Give a Piece of Information
- Discard a Card
- Play a Card
- Place a blue token that is on the table in the lid of the box
- Choose one other player to give a hint to
- Tell that one player information about the cards they are holding:
- When you give information:
- You must point to the cards that you are talking about:
- This means that you cannot say that the player has zero of something
- You must give complete information:
- e.g. If the player has 3 red cards, you cannot tell them that they only have 2 reds
- You must point to the cards that you are talking about:
- The types of information you can give are:
- Information about one (and only one) colour:
- For example:
- "You have 1 red card"
- "You have 2 green cards"
- For example:
- Information about one (and only one) value:
- For example:
- "You have 1 card with the value of 4"
- "You have 2 cards with the value of 2"
- For example:
- Information about one (and only one) colour:
- When you give information:
- Return a blue token to the table from the box lid
- Announce that you are discarding
- Place a card from your hand into the discard pile face-up
- Take a new card from the deck and add it to your hand without looking at it
- Take a card from your hand and place it on the table
- Evaluate whether the card adds to a firework:
- If the card begins, or adds to, a firework:
- Add it to the appropriate colour firework
- If the card dosen't begin, add to or complete any firework:
- Remove the top fuse token from the stack
- If the card begins, or adds to, a firework:
- Take a card from the deck without looking at it to replace the placed card
The game ends when one of three things happens:
- If the explosion fuse token is revealed
- If all five fireworks are made before the deck runs out
- If a player takes the last card in the deck, they complete that turn, and then each player then gets one more turn, after which the game ends
The final score is the sum of the highest value card placed for each firework
Your final ranking is then:
