- 2P:

- Shuffle and deal 7 cards face-up and 7 cards face-down for AI third player
- Put the submarine 4 card back in the deck, shuffle, and deal out cards to both players
- The captain will play for the AI
- You will be able to assign the AI tasks to do
- Use 3-player task values as the AI player is considered a player for this
- Check the logbook for difficulty. Select small task cards equal to the selected difficulty
The Crew is a co-operatve trick taking game where players will try to work together to win tricks to satisfy goals.
There are some important rules governing how players communicate:
- You cannot talk about what cards you have
- You may communicate by using one face-up card per round:
- Your sonar token at the top of the card means it is the highest card of that suit that you have
- Your sonar token in the middle of the card means it is the only card of that suit that you have
- Your sonar token in the bottom of the card means it is the lowest card of that suit that you have
Once per round, a player can declare they are in distress. All players will then pass one card to their right or left:
- Players decide which
- The Captain of the mission plays the first card, the play goes in clockwise order:
- All players must then play a card of the same suit
- If they can't, then they play any card
- The highest card of the same suit played by the first player takes the trick:
- Submarine cards are trump cards
- If the first card played in a trick is a submarine, all cards should follow the wildcard suit
- If you take a trick, keep the cards in front of you
- The player who takes the trick plays the first card of the next trick
- Play continues until all cards in players' hands are played
The game ends when all cards in players' hands have been played
- If all tasks have been met, the mission was a success
The mission fails if:
- The wrong player completes a task
- Some tasks are not completed
